Believing that life begins at conception and belongs to God (Psalm 139:16), and believing that abortion is murder of life created in the image of God (Gen 1:27), we purpose in obedience to the Scriptures to minister to the needs of women with an unexpected pregnancy, and to offer practical help and support to overcome the problems created by an unexpected pregnancy (Jas 2:15–17), so that a woman will choose to bring her child to term rather than abort. We purpose to seek the personal salvation of those to whom we minister and disciple them in the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matt 28:19–20).
ABBA Pregnancy Crisis Center is a comprehensive outreach to women who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, offering whatever support is necessary to provide an alternative to abortion. Our first contact with most women is through the telephone hotline. We maintain a toll-free New Jersey number that is answered around the clock by trained volunteers.
If an appointment is made, we then meet with the woman and try to determine her needs and how we can help. From there on, the ministry is as varied as the individuals needing help. The need may be as simple as supplying some articles of clothing to planning an adoption. Having a baby is an intensely personal matter, and when we share in this experience with the individual, we often come into contact with other family members. We have established a liaison with Small World, a national adoption agency that allows us to follow through with a woman who wants to plan an adoption. We have a branch office in the Medford area to better meet the needs of those in northern or eastern Burlington County, where public transportation is poor.
We have seen the faces of more than 100 little babies who are alive because we helped, and we know of others too.
Let us help you make a plan that works for every one.
